Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Al Seer Marine Supplies and Equipment Company, a subsidiary of IHC, introduced NOVA, the UAE’s first maritime AI-powered Board Observer, according to a press release.
NOVA is a non-voting system that supports governance with live queries, scenario modeling, budgeting, and oversight of subsidiaries.
In line with its AI transformation strategy, the initiative aims to boost automation in shipbuilding, unmanned surface vessels (USVs), fleet management, logistics, and daily operations.
Developed by Aleria, NOVA turns fragmented data into real-time insights. It learns continuously, flags anomalies, and provides predictive analysis.
The system is designed to improve vessel readiness, safety, and long-term competitiveness.
Guy Neivens, CEO of Al Seer Marine, said: “AI is becoming fundamental to our operations.” “From fleet management and shipbuilding to USVs and advanced manufacturing, we are integrating AI across every area of the business.”
“The launch of NOVA is the next step in this journey, turning data into real-time intelligence that strengthens daily operations and long-term competitiveness,” the CEO added.
It combines structured and unstructured data from ERP systems, spreadsheets, documents, databases, and live market feeds to deliver faster and smarter decisions.
Eric Leandri, CEO of Aleria, commented: “With NOVA, we are advancing practical AI solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.”
“By using real-time data and predictive insights, NOVA helps Al Seer Marine’s leadership act with greater precision and speed. This deployment is a key step in our strategy to expand AI integration across UAE sectors,” Leandri mentioned.
Beyond governance, NOVA will reduce costs, streamline shipbuilding, improve yacht services, and advance USV manufacturing and 3D printing.
As of 30 June 2025, Al Seer Marine posted a 20.20% annual hike in revenue to AED 698 million.
